Episode Description:
This week on Spout, we welcome The Chainsmokers (and their dog!). Drew and Alex spout off on creating their new album, the NFL, the influence of their friends on their music, their fallback plan if they don’t do music forever, and their ventures into filmmaking and finance.
The boys also discuss nostalgia for the past, emo heaven, and diving back into their teenage years. Don’t miss the return of The Chainsmokers and the start of their new era on Spout.
https://casinoaufrechnung.com got me thinking about how Drew and Alex balancing music with ventures into filmmaking and finance mirrors what I see with creative friends who diversify to stay sane, though the part about their fallback plan if music ends was the real gut punch. It's easy to forget that even headliners map out exits, and I wonder if that financial cushion actually frees them up to take bigger swings on the album. The nostalgia thread tied it together nicely, since chasing your teenage years and planning for the future at the same time is a weird tension most of us know.
